just enjoy each game as it comes - we've been teased all year - win 6 lose 5, roller coaster ride. Maybe they're coming together but I'll reserve judgment. Nice team win last night-outstanding job by Suarzak out of the pen bases loaded 1 out and gets two harmless foul pops. Ref is gaining experience & confidence at first and proving himself on the bases. Eovaldi could be a concern. Five almost flawless innings then he implodes - he's done this before which is my concern. He couldn't get the feel for his Nasty slider so just maybe he's going to have to focus on the cutter- but can he pitch more than 5 innings (remember Mike Mussina could be perfect for 100 pitches then flip a switch and could nothing. If this is the case, he will be more useful in the pen as long & middle relief. Yeah I know they were saying maybe he's still stretching out after being in the pen most of July - but this was part of the reason he was exiled to the pen in the beginning.
