While the minor league player has not been identified, Brian Cashman has stated he had no contact with the major league players. The player was at the minor league facility a mile away from the major league and never visited there. The minor league players has been quarantined by the Yankees for two weeks. They will stay in hotel rooms and food will be delivered to them. CDC states the incubation period is from 1 - 14 days with 5 being the average.
In the immediate aftermath, the Yankees are quarantining all of their minor leaguers for two weeks. According to Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic, the team will have food delivered to their players in their hotel rooms. No Yankees major leaguers had contact with the player, according to GM Brian Cashman.
