Most of remember the sadness, heartbreak & shock that shook Yankee World August 2, 1979 - Stacey was 6 years old but could see how the death of Thurman Munson affected me. She recently told her husband how I wore black for a year as they were looking a Mother's Day present. To my dismay it arrived today - a home-plate shaped frame with different poses of Thurman. Early gift but couldn't ask for a better one.
