extension or new contract - I would have let him opt out. If Tanaka decides to opt out after the season, I let him go. Not a proponent of giving in to greed be it the players, agents or ownership. I spit fire when George upped Alex's contract when he opted out and CC was no different. If a player opts out, then they only want more money and aren't about team first. Maybe I'm naïve & old fashioned but just the way it is. we all have opinions and that's what this site is all about.
