I always get excited with off season transactions & speculations. Cash & Hal work well together - Hal is not a tightwad with the purse strings but not quite the extravagant spendthrift Big Stein was. They exercise financial acumen - they plan long range which sometimes doesn't make sense to casual fans. Their goal is to put the best possible team on the field without mortgaging the future. We saw the reward of that this year with 30+ on the DL.
I would love to get Cole in the rotation or at least Stras - Cash always has backup plans and those mystery players tucked in his vest pocket.
