This is becoming a joke - they said the same thing going into that streak against the D'backs, Padres, White Sox & Indians. We're talking about the Yankees who have never been sellers. I don't see us being 'buyers' this year because I'm sure Hal still wants to get under the cap for one season to reset the luxury tax. Cash wants to make some deals to build for the future not try to put enough pieces in place that might get us to post season for one year. We saw that in '09 with additions of CC, Tex, McCann, Burnett, keeping Alex - and 7 years later we're still paying for that on the back-end of those contracts. I haven't given up on the season - that's not my style - but I am smart enough to know this team needs to get young. There are a lot of people we might like to get rid of but we need to be smart about it - some do not have any or little value.
