Finally Aaron Hicks has agreed to have the TJ surgery on October 30th - time frame is expected to be 8-10 months. Probably back by mid season. The brass (Cash & Co. ) will start meetings Mon - Wed next week.
Masa had an post-season MRI and nothing revealed - will just have clean-up work again. Investigation into training & rehab is ongoing - Cash would not delve into specifics. Meetings with Boone regarding coaching staff has not yet taken place. The decison to not to replace Stanton was Cashman's. Voit had surgery for his abdominal issue.during the offseason. Taucman was not available for the ALCS - decided Stanton was the best viable player.
Yankees are not privy to any info on the Germain investigation by MLB and also have been directed not to address the situation.
Love to watch Cash's battle of wits with the media - he can talk to them, answer their qwuestions and not reveal anything that he doesn't want to.
