If the Yankees really want to sign Cole, they're going to have to do what they did with CC eleven years ago, who also wanted to sign with a California team and didn't want to live or play in New York.. Overpay him!!!
Maybe they should have CC make a sales pitch to Cole on being a California native and playing for the Yankees.
