If you believe in odds, this scares you; if you believe in analytics you feel pretty good. Go with an opener usually Green, the Yankees have been pretty successful compared the minimanl (3 games) unsuccesful usage by the stros. So far this ALCS, the Stros pen has contained the Yankee bats - let's face it for a large part our bats have struggled especially Sanchez, Encarncion, Gardy. While DJ & Gley have been pretty consistent, the rest of lineup has been sporadic at best. Time to come out, be aggressive & take control of the game early.
Encarnacion is in the lineup with Stanton back on the bench, according to Boone he's not 100^% but can DH. Tanaka is not available out of the pen in a must win situation. We need to play errorless, solid ball and every pitcher needs to bring his A game- no room for a lapse.
