This is just another reason why the brothers have to open their fat wallets and go after Cole in off season! We can’t rely on Tanaka and German ( if he ever rejoins team) to carry this team next year. Severino can be Ace, with proper rest during off season. Paxton hasn’t really convinced me he can be a number one like Cole or Verlander. It’s time to spend some BIG money on free agent pitching during winter. Or else we’re gonna end up as bridesmaids again next year!
