Yankees manager Aaron Boone said Wednesday that Edwin Encarnacion (oblique) has swung at full force the last two days.

Encarnacion took another round of simulated at-bats on Wednesday afternoon at Yankee Stadium and it sounds like he will be good to go for Game 1 of the American League Division Series on Friday versus the Twins. The veteran slugger has been sidelined since September 12 due to a left oblique strain.
