Gio Urshela (ankle) is "good to go" for the American League Division Series.

October 02, 2019 01:31PM
Yankees manager Aaron Boone said Wednesday that Gio Urshela (ankle) is "good to go" for the American League Division Series.

Urshela was removed from Sunday's regular-season finale against the Rangers after suffering a mild left ankle sprain, but he participated in simulated workouts on both Tuesday and Wednesday at Yankee Stadium and should be close to 100 percent by Game 1 of the ALDS on Friday. The 27-year-old infielder broke out to the tune of a .314/.355/.534 batting line with 21 home runs and 74 RBI in 132 games this season for New York.
