College hoops have the FInal Four - now we have the final regular season games for the Yankees as they finish up in Tampa then Arlington. Aaron Boone will be tweaking lineups & pitching to get lined up for October 4th and the beginning of ALDS. Tonight we'll see CC come out of the pen. I expect to see a lot of Tyler Wade as he tries to make the post season roster. Will we see Encarnacion & Sanchez back in time. Double E doesn't need many abs to be ready - we saw that when he came from the broken wrist. Sadly Gary takes time to get his timing back Though Austin doesn't have the same power, he has been producting with key hits and solid D. Rosters can change between series but only during them with an injury.
Pitchers: Paxton, Tanaka, Severino, CC, Happ (might see him out of the pen), Green, Kahnle, Ottovino, Britton, Chapman - 2-3 up for grabs. ALDS is only 5 game series so maybe we go with 12 instead of 13.
This is a week to fine tune & get fundamentals in order.
