the reasdon Didi wasn't offered a contract extension - the powers that be wanted to evaluate and see how he came back following surgery. He's still making adjustments & getting his timing back. It takes time to completely heal and recover. He is making strides - a lot of whether or not he retmains a Yankee will depend on whether he wants to be a Yankee or follow the $$$.We are not privy to his medicals which has a strong bearing on any future deal.
