Aaron Hicks went for a second opinion in LA - was told to rest it for another two weeks & re-evaluate. Surgery is still an option - Aaron Boone expects to meet with Hicks & medical team when NYY return to NYC and discudss options further.
Severino pitches for Trenton tonight 0 if all goes well we can expect to see him in New York. Betances threw 90 pitches last night averaging 91-93 with a high of 95' he will get one more appearance and if that goes well he will return to strengthen the bull pen. Jordy Montgomery started for Trenton last night and could possibly be brought up not necessarily for post season but to actually have made his recovery from TJ surgery complete to MLB.
