Oh, PRY.. You never, ever, ever put your closer in the 9th inning on the road in a tie game. You can do it at home because you have the walk off opportunity, but you don't have that luxury on the road, because you will still have to get three outs from one of your relievers in the bottom of the inning.
Say you use Chappie in the 9th & 10th, but you don't score until the top of the 12th inning. Who closes out the game for you then? Chance Adams? This is why bringing in your closer in the 9th inning in a tie game is bad strategy, and no manager ever does it.
