What Do You Think?

The 2019 season has become 'Next Man Up" for the Savages in the Bronx. 26 on the IL and most were key players at various stages. - we're starting to get some back. Loisiga could possibly be help for the pen next week; Severino & Betances in September. Losing Holder to the IL yesterday hurt - Tarpley & Adams either need more seasoning or are not MLB- material - or maybe they can't handle being Yankees. There has been no word on Voit - Torres didn't go on the IL with his core impingement which shortens the back - concern here would be for him to start a game & feel it again- his 10-days would start all over where had they placed him on it last week, time would be almost up - we are now at the time where every game is important-we're down to the final 7 weeks of the season. We need everyone healthy; the pitching staff needs to find their groove.

In the last week we have alternated between consecutive game losses with the starting ERA ballooning to near 15.00 to a 9-game winning streak - now 2 losses to the Jays. I don't like playing on turf - MLB needs to have more uniformity in field conditions - and while I'm on this rant UMPIRES NEED TO BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR THEIR WRONG OR MISSED CALLS - players have to answer for their mistakes why not the umpires???

That's not a pattern for success in post season. Time to get back to the basics and win series. Everyone needs to bring it.
