What was Cash supposed to do?????If you listened to Cash PC, had we gotten Corbin, DJ, & Adam O would not most likely be in pinstripes. There are budgets & salary caps to be considered. Even the minor deal trading Hardy for Garcia had more to do with roster moves/protecting the right players from the Rule 5 draft during the off season. There is so much that goes on behind the scenes for trades and FA signings that many fans do not comprehend. Thankfully back when Bob Watson moved on Brian Cashman had been training under him to move up & George made the move that Hal continues to support. Hal is actually more in tune with Cash's workings than George. We all remember that George wanted someone he would whip & the checkbook with no regard for the consequences in the future or luxury tax.
