I think it's fair to say that those thanking Cashman don't honestly know what he may have said no to, in terms of offers, and declined offers.

I would be glad to praise him if I knew what it was he was turning down AND if I agreed with him. Fact is, we don't know.

What we do know is the Yankees won 27 championships in the previous 97 years, or, 1 WS Championship every 3.5 yrs.

Cashman as GM, has delivered 1 WS Championship in the past 19 yrs.
