WOW!!!!! Celebrating the 20th anniversary of David Cone's perfecto, the Yankees sweep the Rays increasing the league lead to 8 games. Chad Green worked his magic after loading the bases in the 1st without allowing a run. The Rays took a 0-1 lead against Cortez, Jr while Charlie Morton was dealing until Luke Voit smoked one to tie it up. In the 6th Romaine led off with a double opening the door for 4 runs including Ro scored on a Morton balk & a 2-run single by Didi for a 5-1 Yankee victory.
The Rockies come to Bronx for the weekend.
