Give Jack some credit - getting his education. Not everyone can be a Bobby Brown - had his Yankee career then a brain surgeon. That was when the MLB season ST - WS was 6 maybe 6 1/2 months. So he had time to do college each offseason. Who knows maybe after the first year he will decide he wants to sign with the Yankees while finishing his degree. Just hope it really is his decision and not Al's. Al has been adamant since early on that his son would go to college.
