Seems like he takes forever To go settle a guy down, especially the vets like Tanaka and CC. Some other pitching coaches are out there at the first sign of trouble, but Rothschild stays in the dugout longer than anybody almost to the point where it’s too late and the other team has scored a few runs. I’d like to see a pitching coach be more assertive.
