at this stage Jethro, I would be hesitant to trade Gio - he is solid at 3rd & his O continues to improve. Andujuar is out through 2020 with TJ surgery - I would prefer the have DJ available to float around the IF giving Gleyber, Didi (when he returns), even Luke. While I would hate to lose Frazier (feel he will become the starting LF next season - we have more OFers. Estrada is being groomed to fill the spot of Tyler Wade. That's just my idea - so much depends on the MASH unit returning.
Fair enough. To be honest, I haven't seen enough of Stanton to believe he is better than Frazier defensively. I didn't see him necessarily as an asset in the field last year. I haven't seen enough. And same goes for Frazier. Will Frazier improve his defense? He has a larger window to do just that. Stanton? Not as big a window left to improve, so, what we see now is probably as good as it will get. But I'd sure like a chance to see exactly what it is we have in him - at some point.
