You guys and gals that live in NY and have gone to the stadium to catch some games, have you gotten there early enough for batting practice? Have you seen any of our big right handed hitters try to go to right field with any consistency? To me at home it looks like they’re trying to pull everything to left field. Don’t they realize that as big and strong as they are, a decently hit fly ball to right will go out of that short porch? I mean if they get something inside that they can pull, that’s fine, but if the pitcher is gonna keep the ball on the outer half, go with it and use your strength to drive it the other way. It counts just the same. It’s a lost art that no one seems to have or want anymore.
