I hear that. The reason I think we could work a deal is because the need for RP (Mets) vs. SP (Yanks) seems like an agreement could be reached if spiced with a choice of positional players.

And Kimbrel remains out there. Yes, he proved hitable last year, but as history showed us (with re. to pitching) we saw Luis Tiante and Mike Torres and Roger Clemens all made the transition with success. Perhaps Kimbrel would reach a little deeper into the tank with future red sox games.Also think as no one is jumping to sign him, as time goes on, he may be more flexible in his terms.
