I totally agree, these agents are getting way out of hand with their demands. First they want these long term contracts for a king’s ransom, then they want an opt out option, and then they want a no-trade clause. Then if the player ends up sucking the last 3 or 4 years of the deal, the club can’t try to trade them without the players’ approval, yet the player can say “hey, I don’t want to play here anymore”, and excercise that opt out option. It seems like the player and his agent have all the power, and the owner has to pay for their power. Seems like a one way street to me.
