If the Yanks aren't going to spend the cash for Machado (which I hope they don't ) why don't they sign the just released Troy Tulowitski to a one year deal to fill in at short til Didi gets back? I could think of worse deals, like Daniel Murphy for second and move Gleyber temporarily to short. At least Murphy is better than lame duck & light hitting Tyler Wade.
