I've always wondered if not retaining Jeff Nelson after the 2000 World Series cost the Yankees the 2001 World Series?
Imagine if Jeff Nelson was available to pitch the 8th inning of game 7, and only need Mo for the 9th inning. Not to mention all those bullets that could've been saved in his arm, in games 3, 4 & 5 if Mo didn't need to pitch as much as he did in those three games.
