Sorry to hear about Didi, but I hope they don't go jumping on the Machado band wagon. I feel Echevarria can be a suitable stand in at short til Didi gets back and MILLIONS cheaper! He's a great glove man and a decent enough hitter. Why dig yourself a deeper hole by getting Machado, then trying to decide who to keep when Didi is well enough to come back. I think Didi is great for this team, where Machado could be an ego maniac and a poison to the chemistry we have. But that's just my feeling about it.
