After a torrid two months as the MLB level, Gary Sanchez came in second in the ROY vote. He did receive two first place - we have a foundation to build on if the brass continues with the youth movement. That means do not bring back Beltran - as for Chapman, I'm skeptical about his shoulder after his over usage in the playoffs; he was massaging it following the last game - a good physical exam would be in order. As for BriMc - he would make a solid DH and backup for SanzSmash. That leaves Austin Romaine who proved he is solid, can play first & pitch hit - Greg Bird will be back to fight Tyler Austin for 1st base, There is a lot of potential and we can discuss it over the coming months - as we play the owner/GM roles during the Hot Stove season.
