Beginning to wonder about Sanchez behind the plate - not that he doesn't have the talent to pull off being a solid catcher but who's there to coach him this year. Listen to Cone & Flaherty telling us every game about the thumb down with the mitt - a matter of focusing on correcting it, has anyone told Gary. Has he taken he misfortunes behind the plate to his abs or vice versa? Paul was right about that 400+ ' homer being a bad thing in that Gary now thinks he has to power every pitch out - that's not helping. Who will he listen to - I love Gary but there is too much at stake this time of the season - the pass ball had me actually wonder who the next Yankee catcher would be - Romine is a solid backup; Kyle isn't ready to be a starter. Off my rant - & back to watching ENCORE - love pitching duels WHEN the Yankees win, much easier watching the second time around, even the third.
