I'm with you, I'm old school and don't like managers using a laptop to make their decisions. I'd go with whomever is hot at the time, we're here to win, not sooth egos. If you want to play, show what you can do when you get the opportunity. That's what Voit did, and That's what McCutcheon is doing. As long as Cutch is hitting, he gets the nod over Gardner in left. As for next year, Gardner is 35 and McCutcheon is 31. If I had to keep one of the two, McCutcheon has a better resume and a better hitting eye. No contest.
