After celebrating with Court & family last night, I watched YES and the June game with Seattle. Maybe just 10 weeks ago - but there was discernible difference in the make up of this team. Let's consider for the youth - this is their first (Gley & Miggy) 2nd (Gary, & Judge) full season - Greg Bird has yet to play a season without injury time - Hicks usually hits the DL & platoons - that's half the starting lineup playing in more games than they've played in a season - minor league seasons are in playoffs. Maybe the longer season & the fact with so many early rainouts doubleheaders or consecutive days playing are taking a toll on them. Tonight we begin 3 with the Mariners - this weekend will give us a better of idea of what we can expect down the stretch. Even when/if Judge does return I'm not going to expect too much from him in production.
