Interesting the Angels put him back on the mound just to complete the tear so now surgery is being scheduled - he will miss the entire 2019 season. With a 2 year deal with LAA, he will be ready for a new contract when he is ready to return to the mound. Is it possible that he could return next year as a DH/field player next year???? Could be interesting to see how this progresses after the surgery!!
