I personally think Fenway Park is overrated, and would never go there if I had to sit in one of the original sections. I would have to sit in one of the newer sections where I wouldn't miss three innings of the game if I went to the bathroom.
I never saw a game in Yankee Stadium in it's original form and it kills me to say that. My very first Yankee game was in 1974 at Shea, and my first at YS was in 1976 after the renovations.
For the record, I love the new Yankee Stadium. I know a lot of fans are bitter about the new stadium replacing the old one, but in my opinion, Yankee Stadium was replaced in the early 1970's by the renovations. It's the main reason why it didn't qualify for historical preservation.
