Well, according to Yankee broadcasters, when Boone was asked on why Cessa instead of Adams, Sheffield? His response was because of Cessa's experience. A young guy like Adams will not get experience unless you allow him to pitch. In his one and only appearance, he presented himself very well, earning at least another starting shot. We've seen what Cessa brings to the table, which isn't very much, I'd rather he had given Adams another shot especially against the Mutts, which isn't a lights out offense. We've seen what someone without much experience can do at this level, such as Loaisiga when he came up, so his argument about experience doesn't wash.
