I was not happy when Tampa grabbed Evo from waivers prior to TJ surgery. He had nasty stuff then & with his knockout pitch he's better now.
There are pitchers who are not comfortable throwing at batters - not sure if it's a question of not trusting their control at coming in or what. Got love Severino though for saying IF he was aiming at the batter, he wouldn't miss - he would hit the target. Torre told the pitcher NOT to hit batters - so maybe it comes from the cyber staff that is calling most of the shots already.
