My soapbox time...lol...I think pitchers are baseball players not just pitchers..just look at what happened with Tanaka..Not in baseball shape to run the bases but he was in pitchers shape. Now in defense of the pitcher I don't like hitters who wear elbow pads to the plate..This isn't hockey..By wearing the elbow pad the hitter doesn't have to worry about the inside pitch and can now stand in there at the plate and be right on an outside pitch not having to worry about an inside pitch. Now on to the outfielders who cannot throw a baseball. So many outfielders cannot throw the baseball 200 feet or accurate..I also don't like the cannot take out a runner at 2nd base. Maybe I'm old school too...
