I hear ya, toga. My preference these days to hear and watch call the Yankees games is Michael Kay, Paul O'Neill and David Cone, maybe Al Leiter, Ken Singleton, Flash Flaherty pretty much the YES roster or stable of color analysts. Ryan Ruocco does a good job when Michael Kay isn't doing play by play I think.

On the ESPN front I have to admit that I do enjoy watching/listening to Dan Shulman and then the team of Sutcliffe, David Ross and Jon "Boog" Sciambi I have kind of taken a shine to because they crack me up with the back and forth banter in the broadcast booth when they get going but you realize that in the end it is good natured ribbing. Keeps the broadcast mood somewhat lighter.
