Would the same thing happen to Harper if we were to sign him in the off season for next year? I don't think so. I believe Harper's work ethic and commitment to succeed is slightly different from Stanton's. The only problem is, I believe we are going to be stuck with his no-trade contract, just like Ellsbury's.
