Greg Bird was at the Stadium and throwing a baseball once they took the tarp off the field - good sign he is on schedule to return by mid May. Brandon Drury was also at the Stadium and says he is confident med staff is making progress with his migraines/blurred vision; he's not worried. Now the shocker: Ellsbury who is on the DL for an oblique then hip injury and now a new injury - sorry I was so concerned I missed what this one is.

Other news: Jace Peterson who was DFA last week was signed to a major league contract after he opted for FA rather than accept an assignment. Could be trade bait.

With Tyler Wade slumping at the plate, could that be the opening to bring up Gley at the end of the week???? Only time will tell.
