I agree and I just hope Rothchild isn't going to screw around - he is the pitching coach, in charge of pitching. Part of the reason he was retained was his experience; is he petty enough to take his 'anger' about Joe's firing or his own not being hired as manager out by not being responsible for the staff. I'm not a Rothchild fan never have been - so when there's screw ups with the pitching, I put the blame on him. He is supposed to be advising Aaron when pitchers begin to tire, don't have their good stuff, = if he isn't doing that then just maybe it was Joe G who was managing things that Rothchild was given credit for. Coaches have a responsibility to the manager & team - as such Rothchild should have told Aaron it was time to warm up Adam in the pen or even called down to tell the bp coach Aaron didn't throw anyone under the bus - but I don't have to soothe egos or work with them on a daily basis.
