Jack Curry has reported YES.com that prospect Thairo Estrada is recovery from a gunshot wound incurred during a robbery in his Venezuelan hometown last month. Estrada was entering a restaurant with his wife when a couple of possibly teenagers attempted to rob him of cell phone & money and shot him in the hip. The bullet is still lodged in the hip but no further surgeries are expected. Estrada is in camp and expected to play most of the season. Aaron Boone agreed they expect the youngster to be ready.
