Still not singed & sealed but looks like we have two RFers who hit the stratosphere with bombs while amassing Ks. Looks like to bring the cap in place - Castro & his $10 mil will be going South which opens second for Gleybr Torres. Of course barring Stanton not opting out in 2020 - 7/8 years from now you will be bashing this contract. Something else I like is Hal & Cash are working on a 5-year contract for Cash to give him a chance to solidify this team & just maybe bring us #28, 29. REMEMBER nothing has been signed yet - watch for weekend development - can't even wait for Michael Kay at 3 - cause it's the weekend. ENJOY!!!!!!

Giancarlo Stanton, the newly minted National League MVP and baseball's greatest home run threat, is reportedly a Yankee.
Late Friday night into Saturday morning, the two teams worked on a deal to send Stanton to the Bronx, and around 8:00 AM EST Saturday, Jon Heyman of FanRagSports reported that an agreement had been reached.
Stanton, 28, hit a Major League-leading 59 home runs and 132 RBI in 2017 for the Marlins, for whom he's played his entire eight-year MLB career.
The four-time All-Star and two-time Silver Slugger will join forces with an already formidable heart of the Yankees lineup, which will soon feature Aaron Judge, Gary Sanchez and Stanton likely in successive order, creating a nightmare scenario for opposing pitchers.
