with the time closing in for negotiations on whether or not Ohtani will be able to come to MLB for a 'bargain contract', looks like the agreement is ready to signed once they cross the t's and dot the i's/ Problem came with Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters wanting $20 mil to allow him to investigate playing in the USA while he is still under 25. The players' association had a problem with that figure. Looks like this will get done soon.
