Sporting a 2-0 lead in the best of 5 ALDS with the Twins, the Yankees are in the Minneapolis area. Ther will be a light work out at the new outdoor field - thankfully they don't have snow yet. Some good food and maybe sight seeing or shopping; others might spend time just relaxing in the hotel. Tomorrow night game 3 will see Luis Severino take the mound. This will be a test as the Twinkies are a good FB hitting team. Pax, Masa & The pen were chintzy with just a spattering of FBs in games 1 &2 using mostly sp;its & sliders with some curves mixed in for good measure. When on, Sevy relies heavily on his heater - we've seen him dominating with a 97 mph in late innings - will he be able to tame Cruz, Sano & Co.? Odorizzi pitched in two games vs. the Bombers - one good, one he got shellaced. Game 3 could be very interesting - remember game time 8:37 - think it's on FS1 again. Wish they would let Yankee announcer cover the action.
