ANAHEIM — With Clint Frazier on the 10-day injured list with a sprained ankle, the Yankees outfield included infielder Tyler Wade in left the past two games.
So the Yankees acquired veteran Cameron Maybin from the Indians organization on Thursday for cash considerations.
Maybin, 32, was playing at Columbus (Triple-A) after being released by the Giants in late March. In 14 Triple-A games, Maybin hit .216 with five RBIs.
