Yankees lose several prospects in Rule 5 draft

The Yankees’ minor league depth just took a hit.

In the Rule 5 draft in Las Vegas on Thursday, the Yankees said goodbye to pitcher Nick Green (Diamondbacks), catcher Chris Rabago (Royals), pitcher Gilmael Troya (Phillies), pitcher Anyelo Gomez (Red Sox), pitcher Alexander Vargas (Cubs) and outfielder Mark Payton (A’s).
