Yanks avoid arbitration with Kahnle, Hicks

The Yankees have reportedly come to terms on deals with two arbitration-eligible players -- reliever Tommy Kahnle and outfielder Aaron Hicks.

MLB Network insider Jon Heyman reported Kahnle and the Yankees agreed on a one-year, $1.3125 million deal, while Hicks settled on a $2.825 million contract for 2018, per ESPN. They're the first of the Yankees' eight arbitration-eligible players to agree to a deal.
