This sort of tells Ellsbury he has no place in the Yankee plans outside of late-inning pinch running possible spot starts. Cash has offered that the Yankees would pay 1/2 of Ellsbury's contract for the next three years remaining. Of course, he has a full no-trade clause. and would have to accept any team. NOW would any GM want to bite.
